1. Explain: About Windows Usage

Explain about Windows, Icons, Task Bar, Shutdown / Restart and how to open an application window, minimize, maximize, restore, resize and close the window and about multitasking. Do this by having the students actually launch applications like GCompris and then closing them, seeing them in the task bar etc.

    1. Teacher should motivate the students to learn about computer.
    2. Keep the theoretical sections like types of computers and parts of computers light. They may also be skipped.
    3. While teaching the parts of a computer let the children see and use the part. While playing games use words like “ Hit Enter on the keyboard”, “see what is on the screen/monitor”, etc. to make them familiar with the parts.
